Spartan EV With LVTong Controller

Now that we have identified which controller is in your vehicle we can take a look at what is required to connect to the vehicle and make your desired changes.

1. Observe & Identify The Controller

2. Locate & Identify Programming Port

The programming port is located in the battery bay under the seat next to the Run/Tow switch. It may have a protective cap on it which will need to be removed for the check and also during programming.

 

3. Programming Cable - LVTong Controller

To establish a connection with the LVTong controller in your Spartan EV you will need to use CartCables part # CC-CBL-ICONSE. It can be purchased HERE NOTE: The ICON & LVTong Controllers are both private label controllers installed in the vehicles by LVTong, They come from the same factory so we use our ICON cable for both the ICON & the LVTong controllers.

 

4. Programming Software - LVTong Controller

In addition to the programming cable you will need to have a copy of the "LVTongLIVE" software loaded on your pc. WE DO NOT PROVIDE THE SOFTWARE.
