MD Carts FF4 Controller ID Guide

1. Locate the controller

The controller on the FF4 is located under the rear seat. It is mounted in a protective box. To access the controller you will need to pop the seat cushion up and remove the cover of the controller box.

  

2. Observe & Identify The Controller

With the cover removed from controller box you can view and identify the controller. The FF4 model cart uses the 450a JHL controller.

 

3. Locate & Identify Programming Port

The programming port on the FF4 is located under the rear seat, next to the Tow/Run switch. The programming port is a white, square, 4-pin connector. It has a protective cap on it that needs to be removed to attach the programming cable, make sure to replace it once you're done making your adjustments.


Now that we have identified the controller in your vehicle we can take a look at the required equipment to connect to the vehicle and make your desired changes. 

4. Programming Cable

To establish a connection with the controller in your FF4 you will need to use CartCables part number CC-CBL-JHLSE2. It can be purchased HERE.

 
5. Programming Software

In addition to the programming cable you will need to have a copy of the "JHLLive" software loaded on your pc. WE DO NOT PROVIDE THE SOFTWARE.
